We Are Carbon Neutral

Our team is very proud to now be Carbon Neutral. We have planted 1,302 young, vigorous, native-Canadian trees as the newest participant in Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation’s (RVCF) Carbon Neutral Program. Carleton Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. is working with RVCF to calculate the amount of carbon emissions we produce (in tonnes of carbon dioxide) and then convert that into the number of trees to be planted to offset (or absorb) the carbon the company produces in our day-to-day operations. Air Conditioner Donated To The Lanark County Food Bank

Our team getting ready to install the YORK central air conditioner that we have donated to the Lanark County Food Bank. Karin (Manager of the Lanark County Food Bank) contacted us the first of April inquiring about obtaining air conditioning for the building they recently moved into. There were some existing window air conditioners, however they are either not working or in rough shape. We met with Karen and determined that a central air conditioner would work in  this application, and would therefore replace the window units. Community Involvement Award

We are very proud to have been recognized and to have received the award for Community Involvement at the recent Chamber Of Commerce Business Awards event. It is certainly an honour to receive this award, however that is not why we contribute. We are thankful for the support of our customers for our family owned business and believe that giving back to help make communities a better place to live is very important.

Fill The Freezer For The Guy Family

We are looking for help to Fill The Freezer in our office for the Guy family. Shannon Amy Guy died tragically in Mexico recently while on her honeymoon leaving behind her husband Paul and two little girls ages 7 months and 3 years. This young family needs our assistance and we want to help show them that people really do care. This family can use any donation such as frozen food, gift cards, diapers, etc.

For The Love Of Bridget Rose

  $750 For Bridget Rose We held our Staff Golf Day Friday August 16th. At this event the office staff raffled off a few items including golf bags. They raised $375 which the company matched. Therefore our total donation to help Bridget and her family with their expenses  is $750.
