Our team is very proud to now be Carbon Neutral. We have planted 1,302 young, vigorous, native-Canadian trees as the newest participant in Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation’s (RVCF) Carbon Neutral Program. Carleton Refrigeration, Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. is working with RVCF to calculate the amount of carbon emissions we produce (in tonnes of carbon dioxide) and then convert that into the number of trees to be planted to offset (or absorb) the carbon the company produces in our day-to-day operations. Our team getting ready to install the YORK central air conditioner that we have donated to the Lanark County Food Bank. Karin (Manager of the Lanark County Food Bank) contacted us the first of April inquiring about obtaining air conditioning for the building they recently moved into. There were some existing window air conditioners, however they are either not working or in rough shape. We met with Karen and determined that a central air conditioner would work in this application, and would therefore replace the window units. As a result we have donated......

Shannon Amy Guy died tragically in Mexico recently while on her honeymoon leaving behind her husband Paul and two little girls ages 7 months and 3 years.
